The Hollywood 48 Hour Miracle Diet has been advertised highly on radio and television. For two days you give up all your bad food habits. In place of fats, sugars and artificial ingredients, you flood your body with the vitamins, minerals and essential oils found in this so-called “amazing juice”.
To partake it, you simply need to mix half of it with an equal amount of cold water and sip it throughout the day.
The makers of this diet claim that it’s so easy. There’s no measuring or combining foods, no counting calories or points, and no hassle. The diet has become so popular simply because it has been said to be used by Hollywood actors themselves. They claim the diet was used on such stars as those on Friends, and those on the set of E.R. They claim this is what actors use to fit into their tight dresses before award shows.
Needless to say, they don’t actually do this, but it does give the Hollywood 48 Hour Miracle Diet much needed publicity considering it is only a fruit drink made up of Pineapple, Apple, Orange, Grapefruit, Apricot, Peach, and Banana.
Although it might be healthy and taste very good, it is hardly a way of dieting. Fruits, especially fruit drinks, are very high in carbohydrates, which is what turns into fat!
The Hollywood 48 Hour Miracle Diet tastes rather well and can be a good substitute for a soda or a milk shake, but would be a joke to say that this is a way of dieting.
